Mobile Resource Trailer

The Broomfield North Metro Kiwanis Club is excited to introduce our Mobile Resource Trailer! Our trailer has been created to deliver the most critical resources to underserved children & families in the North Metro area communities. It is widely understood the rising inflation has exacerbated food insecurity across Colorado, and not only are government resources stretched to their limits, but many families who are experiencing new lows in resources are unsure or insecure about where to go to get help. The BNM Mobile Resource Trailer will help solve this problem with a three-pronged approach: 1) bringing resources directly to the location of those in need, 2) providing a welcoming “shop at no cost” approach where families can choose the resources they need most, and 3) providing BNM the ability to assess demand for help and focus on delivering help to certain locations with most needed resource types. We will partner with community partners in the area to have our Mobile Resource Trailer available for these underserved populations and bring the resources directly to them. We will focus on Winter Necessities, Basic Household Essentials, Move in Kits and Backpacks & School Supplies in our inaugural year.
